Bible Institute of Tecate Mission International

One of the greatest needs in the world at this time is a properly trained and equipped national worker.  They will always be more effective in their own language and culture than a foreigner or visitor.

The Bible Institute of Tecate Mission International was founded in 1993, with the vision to train and prepare leaders from Mexico to work with their own people.  The Bible Institute of Tecate Mission International (BITM) is located just 15 minutes over the Tecate border in Valle Verde, North Baja California, Mexico.

Construction and classes started almost immediately.  Although this three-year, resident Bible school is small, several students have already graduated and are serving in a full-time capacity throughout Mexico. 

The  BITM exists to provide a quality biblical education to both single and married students who desire to prepare for full-time Christian service.  The BITM is a three year resident program, offering classes in Theology, Christian Education, practical Christian service, electives and opportunities for service in local churches as part of the training.

Students are partially sponsored by their local churches, but many do not have the needed finances for tuition and housing.  Although students can work to off-set their costs, there is still a financial need each month.

Currently, we can train a student for as little as $125.00 per month, which includes tuition, materials, room and board.  This cost is but a small fraction compared to a Bible school in the United States.  The need for fully trained and properly prepared leaders from Mexico is greater than ever … Mexico’s population has surpassed 100 million and still has almost 300 distinct language groups.
