Welcome to Tecate Mission TEE in
Prison Ministry
Tecate Mission International has expanded its ministry into Wisconsin correctional institutions, by using TEE Bible
study materials, targeting Latinos who are incarcerated.
Since the spring of 2004, Carl and Kathy Olson have been leading weekly Bible studies in Spanish at Dodge Correctional Institution,
the processing center for the state of Wisconsin. In the fall of that year, they also added similar classes at the maximum security mens
facility of Waupun Correctional, as well as at the maximum security womens facility of Taycheedah Correctional.

Because all Wisconsin prisoners come first to Dodge Correctional for assessment and evaluation, before being sent to other institutions to serve
their sentences, there is a unique opportunity to present the Gospel. The Word of God has been shared with over 300 inmates in the last year alone. Many have the challenges
of coming from difficult backgrounds, and of being incarcerated before. Nearly 100 have trusted Christ, and are in the process of learning how to live the Christian life!
In the spring of 2005, one-on-one discipleship times and pastoral visits were begun, with the goal of discipling inmates who are serious about growing in Christ.
This ministry is in need of mature Christians to help disciple Latino inmates, both Spanish and English speakers.
There are open doors to extend the ministry to other prisons.
Volunteers are being sought to invest in eternity as Prayer Warriors, or Prison Pen Pals. Is God calling YOU to
have a part in this fulfilling ministry? For more information,
